There are 54 lifts and 12 escalators in total which serve the entire complex.

Eight high-speed passenger lifts service each rise of Collins Tower being floors 3-17 and 17-32 respectively. Access to the carpark is provided by the three lifts in the central retail area of the complex.

A proximity card system controls the use of lifts after hours. To enable after hours access to tenancy floors, each lift is equipped with a card reader which enables only valid cardholders to access the floors.

For major Goods Lift usage, contact the Loading Bay Supervisor on 9655 3609. In addition, one passenger lift per rise connects all floors with the truck dock on the second level of the basement. These can be padded out for fitout requirements.

All lifts are equipped with the following for emergencies:

  • Emergency lighting in the event of power failure.
  • An alarm button which when activated will sound in our 24 hour manned Security Control Room.
  • Telephones having direct dial access to our Security Control Room.
  • Usual inbuilt safety features.

Escalators link the retail areas on the ground and lower ground levels. These escalators operate 24 hours, 7 days a week.
